I am an incoming Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Pittsburgh. My research examines what motivates people, with a particular focus on incentives, real effort, intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, reciprocity, and charitable giving.

I completed my Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Queensland in December 2025. During my doctoral studies, I held visiting positions at the University of Copenhagen and at the University of California, San Diego as a Fulbright Scholar.

Previously, I completed a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) and a Bachelor of Mathematics at the University of Queensland, where I was awarded a University Medal and the Microeconomics Honours Prize.
